With her sister Nina Isabel, she attended schools in which First Nations and other children from various cultures were included. Isabel currently lives with her family in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel began acting in school. After graduating from the Queensland University of Technology, she studied drama at the Victoria College of Arts. She also recently completed the PEM Method course (Perdekamp Emotional Method) research. The actress never had auditions for roles until she was discovered by her agent in 2002. She auditioned for part on Home and Away (1988). The producers thought she wasn't appropriate for the role but were impressed enough and came up with a brand new role for Tasha. In the following three years, she played her first role in a television show and won the Logie Award. In 2008 Isabel made the move to Los Angeles. Her breakout role was in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009). In the years since, she's appeared in several US and Australian projects, and was awarded many nominations. Isabel has recently starred on the screen in Bosh & Rockit, a movie that's fast becoming a classic in Australia. She also acted in the forthcoming thriller Lunacy.
